Rabbits Preening and Looking Coquettish

Image
Preening rabbits can be engrossing to watch. They’re fastidious as they lick their paws to scrub their faces and bodies. They preen after eating and sometimes before they nod off and when they wake. You’ve heard of cat naps. Well, there are short rabbit naps. The naps could be as short as a couple of minutes. Sometimes rabbits look coquettish. I’ve tried to photograph them cleaning their ears. When backlit, the veins are faintly visible through glowing, pinkish skin, the ears edged in brightly lit fur. Kogarana’s Bunny Popo is adorable to watch online. Birthday bunny wants more sweets , won't stop ringing bell It's a challenge to get Popo into the carrier to go get her nails cut . Those leg flicks at about 1:15 are the strongest words on the rabbit language (and perhaps evidence in favor of Chomsky's argument that language is innate , not taught) Popo and her cat friend Pete are lovely together A bunny and her slide
